Warranty Policy
Last updated: 12.1.2025
1. Overview
JRi Suspension (“JRi Suspension,)” “we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants certain products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set forth below (the “Warranty”). This Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary by state or jurisdiction.
2. Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise stated in writing on the specific product page or invoice:
- Fabricated Suspension Components (e.g., A-arms, trailing arms, radius rods, brackets): Limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original retail purchaser for as long as the product is owned by that purchaser, subject to normal use and proper installation.
- Hardware, Bushings, and Wear Items (e.g., Delrin bushings, rod ends, heims, uniballs, bearings, bolts): Limited warranty for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects only. Wear from normal use is not considered a defect.
- Coatings and Finish (e.g., powdercoat, paint, plating): Limited warranty for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase against excessive peeling or flaking due to defects in materials or workmanship. Rock chips, abrasion, discoloration from UV or chemicals, and other cosmetic damage are not covered.
- Third-Party Products (e.g., shocks, axles, joints, electronics): May be covered solely by the original manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Warranty claims for such items may be directed to the manufacturer and are subject to their terms and conditions.
3. Who Is Covered
This Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser of the product, is not transferable, and applies only to products purchased directly from JRi Suspension Company or from an authorized dealer or distributor.
4. What Is Not Covered
This Warranty does not cover, and JRi Suspension shall have no responsibility or liability for, any of the following:
- Products that have been improperly installed, misused, abused, neglected, or modified.
- Damage resulting from accidents, collisions, rollovers, racing, competition, stunts, or extreme use.
- Damage caused by improper maintenance, lack of maintenance, or failure to follow installation instructions.
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to bushings, bearings, rod ends, heims, finishes, and hardware.
- Cosmetic damage including scratches, chips, rust, fading, and discoloration.
- Damage caused by use with incompatible parts or non-recommended tire sizes, offsets, or ride heights.
- Consequential damage to vehicles, tires, driveline components, or other parts.
- Products installed on vehicles used for rental, commercial, fleet, or government service, unless expressly approved in writing.
5. Vehicle Modifications and Safety
Many states and jurisdictions regulate allowable vehicle height modifications and on-road use of modified vehicles. It is the Buyer’s sole responsibility to know and comply with all applicable laws and regulations where the vehicle is operated. Modifications to ride height and suspension geometry may affect handling, braking, stability, steering input, and wear on suspension components and tires.
All products must be installed by a qualified professional. After installation, the vehicle should be thoroughly inspected, aligned, and tested at low speed in a safe area prior to normal or aggressive use. The Buyer is responsible for periodically inspecting all components, hardware, and mounting points for signs of wear, damage, or loosening and for addressing any issues prior to further use.
6. Limitation of Remedies
If a product is found by Cedar Suspension Company, in its sole discretion, to be defective and covered by this Warranty, JRi Suspension Company’s sole and exclusive obligation, and your sole and exclusive remedy, shall be one of the following (as determined by Cedar Suspension Company):
- Repair of the defective product, or
- Replacement of the defective product with the same or comparable product, or
- Refund of the original purchase price (excluding shipping, taxes, and fees).
Any repaired or replacement product will be warranted only for the remainder of the original Warranty period.
7. Warranty Claim Procedure
Before returning any product, you must obtain a warranty authorization from Cedar Suspension Company.
- Email sales@jrisuspensionco.com with:
- Your name and contact information.
- Proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt).
- Vehicle year, make, model, and relevant modifications.
- Detailed description of the issue, including when and how it occurred.
- Clear photos and/or videos showing the product, installation area, and the alleged defect.
- JRi Suspension will review the information and may request additional details or inspection. If a return is authorized, you will receive return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Ship the product, freight prepaid, to the address provided with your RMA. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Products returned without an RMA may be refused or delayed.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs to JRi Suspension in connection with a warranty evaluation. If a warranty claim is approved, Cedar Suspension Company may, at its discretion, cover or credit reasonable ground shipping for the repaired or replacement product back to the Buyer.
8. Exclusion of Other Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY OR IN A SEPARATE WRITTEN WARRANTY PROVIDED WITH A SPECIFIC PRODUCT, JRi SUSPENSION COMPANY MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CEDAR SUSPENSION COMPANY, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, VEHICLE DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ALL CASES, JRi SUSPENSION COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT.
10. Governing Law
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Warranty shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Utah, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Changes to This Warranty
JRi Suspension Company reserves the right to modify or update this Warranty at any time. The version of the Warranty in effect on the date of purchase will apply to your product, unless a subsequent written warranty is provided with that product.
